Dredging

Dredging refers to an excavation operation usually carried out underwater in shallow seas, rivers, or freshwater areas in order to relocate bottom sediments. Often used to ensure waterways remain navigable, dredging is also used to replenish beaches that have shrunk from coastal erosion. Dredging can also be utilized to remove contaminated soils from lakes and riverbeds.

We maintain a barge fleet of varying sizes, which allows us to provide a wide- variety of mechanical dredging services to the Lake Michigan coastal regions of WI and Upper Michigan, tributary waters to Lake Michigan, and many inland rivers or lakes.
